The most foolish thing I could have done today, is not stop to appreciate this view. From the safety of indoors, avoiding the pollen-copalyse, of course. I’m no fool.

We used to complain about Moxie pulling. (She did/does.) But a 17 lb dog pulling is significantly different than a dog twice that size pulling. And I can’t imagine Ginger getting to 70 lbs and pulling. Unless we have a car stuck in the snow – at that point, it will feel helpful.

Resting tween face. I’m getting used to it. We’re a full year into this pandemic and she’s feeling the effects. Fully. She’s overwhelmed, and upset. She’d like her old life back. Mainly tennis. And I’m with her – I’d like for her to have some of that life back too.

I’m not sure whether I’m proud or embarrassed to admit that we retrieved our final items, out of storage, over the weekend. You know, since we closed and moved into the new house a full two months ago.
