Killing the Germs but Keeping the Luck

Posted on November 1, 2018November 8, 2018 By Angie Keiser

This post is sponsored by Tide, but all thoughts, opinions and stinky sports equipment belongs to our family.

If you have an athlete living in your house, you probably also have a ‘lucky’ item. Am I right?

That is Mayhem’s lucky tennis visor, and if it isn’t painfully obvious, it’s been through the wringer. It’s been stepped on, tossed aside, blown off by wind, doused with water, and soaked with sweat. Needless to say, I find it pretty gross, and would love nothing more than to toss it in the washing machine.

And the mere mention of that causes extreme drama in my house. As in “You’ll wash the luck off!!!” So the visor doesn’t get washed, but continues to get worn. But the visor is currently in playoffs for the second time this year, so clearly, it’s doing its job. As are those stinky shoes she’s taking off and leaving in the back of the car.

Which is why I jumped at the chance to check out the NEW Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray – from the brand who understands how to clean and protect fabrics the most.  The new Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray kills 99.9% of bacteria on your tough-to-clean fabrics and clothes. Like that nasty visor which was probably starting to grow who knows what.

And the tennis shoes. And that tennis bag which gets dragged from court to court.

Honestly, I was ready for that visor to ‘disappear’ because I was getting concerned about what might be on it, but Tide saved the day. A quick spray onto the visor and wait five minutes – that’s all it takes to eliminate 99.9% of the bacteria.

So yeah, we now have a bit of a routine with the tennis gear – bag, shoes and visors get the treatment.

And I know I’m not alone in this because one of my friends has a soccer playing son who refuses to let her clean his shin guards. Because, luck. And another friend who has a hockey playing son, and claims she’s terrified of what might be growing on his gloves. And how are you even supposed to clean a baseball mitt?

Truthfully, I’m not sure who’s happier about this new Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray. On one hand, I’m pretty thrilled about how easy it is to use. But on the other hand, Mayhem’s pretty stoked that the visor lives to see another match 😉 Click here to score a $2 discount on the New Tide Antibacterial Fabric Spray, and give it a try for yourself. You can thank us later 😉

Tide antibacterial Fabric Spray is effective against bacteria as called out in registration.
