She’s counting down the weeks until summer break. She’s looked through the schoolwork and knows exactly how many weeks worth of work, there is to complete.
She’s been handling her schoolwork much more independently this year and while it was a struggle early on, she’s displayed the maturity it takes, and gone on to embrace the responsibility.
Now the real question is, will she double down and get the work done sooner, or will spring fever really set in and have her clamoring to spend more time outside everyday?
I could turn this into a really detailed math word problem, but word problems are her least favorite. And there’s a beautiful spring week unfolding in front of us.
It’s looking like this could be a real test for me as well.
